the Cross Island Line (CRL) will be the eighth and longest MRT line in Singapore, operating underground with over 50 km long. It will connect the major nodes in the west, centre and east regions. Many important hubs such as Jurong Lake District, Tampines, Bukit Timah, Thomson, Ang Mo Kio, Hougang, Punggol, and Pasir Ris town centres, Punggol Digital District and Changi Aviation Park will be conveniently served.

The CRL Line will construct into 3 phases. The phase 1 of the CRL will comprise 12 stations from Aviation Park in Changi to Bright Hill in Thomson. This will serve residential and industrial areas such as Loyang, Tampines, Pasir Ris, Defu, Hougang, Serangoon North and Ang Mo Kio. The Cross Island Line (CRL) – Punggol Extension, which connects Pasir Ris to Punggol will comprise four underground stations of Punggol, Riviera, Elias and Pasir Ris.

With the improved connectivity upon the completion of CTL, future residents of Martin Modern can expect the great convenience to travel the whole Island.
